Jose Lopez
Jose Lopez is a dedicated professional with expertise in policy research, community engagement, and youth development. He served as a Senior Research Analyst for a campaign in Chicago, where he played a key role in shaping policies on elder care, inclusion, transportation, and mental health services. His work secured endorsements from key community organizations. Previously, as a Housing Operations Director in higher education, he implemented residential policies and managed student housing, focusing on international, graduate, and first-generation students.
Jose’s commitment to youth development is evident in his roles as a Program Facilitator for Bridgeport Caribe Youth Leaders and a Site Supervisor for the Bridgeport Public Education Fund. He managed programs that provided employment skills training and mentoring for high school students, including adapting these programs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
